OK…I’m hooked…

Hi…I’m Scott…and I’m an iPad addict.

(Now, imagine about 300,000 others who feel the same way saying, in unison, “Hi Scott!”)

Yes, I’m writing this blog on my new iPad — and I’ve been doing just about everything else imaginable on it from the time I purchased it at the Apple Store in Indianapolis on Saturday, after standing in line for a little over two hours.

In the next couple of days, I’ll be posting about my incredible experience at the Apple Store — and how they created an Ultimate Customer Experience ®, even though we were waiting in a queue at a mall.

And — after we finish with some video and photo shoots today — I’m getting started on a new book. It’s going to be a bit different from what I’ve done before. This time, I’m writing a small, concise book about the size of “Fish” or “One Minute Manager.” Don’t want to give away too much too soon, but it will be on an idea to dramatically improve your connections with your customers.

One more thing…I’m writing the book entirely on the iPad as an experiment regarding its ability to be a significant tool for creativity and productivity.

Well…the iPad just may be the unlikely addiction that is a very good thing! More soon…
